A new sustainable & durable view on fibre composite development
We are the solution for your problem
Rxcomposites is a company based in the Netherlands, Eindhoven. We focus on developing parts from a fiber composite. We go to great lengths to fulfill your wish! Do not hesitate to contact us, we are always ready with an answer!
How we produce your custom carbon fibre
01. Quotation request
In consultation we will see what the possibilities are, and will make a quote from that. By agreement we will take action
02. Engineering / designing
In this phase we will design the part. We will make drawings of the product itself, as well as the mold.
03. Molding
This is the basis for producing a good end product. This involves a lot of engineering aswell, because developing a mold can involve many complications.
04. Laminating
When laminating, we apply the fiber composite in the mold, which is an extremely complex process. Because here we have to look for the best possible method.
05. Testing
Because we are a development and production company with high demands, we will test every product thoroughly.
Frequently Asked Questions
How strong is carbon fibre?
The modulus of carbon fiber is typically 33 msi (228 GPa) and its ultimate tensile strength is typically 500 ksi (3.5 Gpa). High stiffness and strength carbon fiber materials are also available through specialized heat treatment processes with much higher values.
What is carbon fibre used for?
Carbon fiber-reinforced composite materials are used to make aircraft and spacecraft parts, racing car bodies, golf club shafts, bicycle frames, fishing rods, automobile springs, sailboat masts, and many other components where light weight and high strength are needed.
Is carbon fibre strong?
For being extraordinarily light in weight, carbon fiber boasts an extremely high stiffness and tensile strength. In addition to its natural strength and stiffness, carbon fiber is extremely resistant to heat and chemical abrasion making it a highly desirable material for various industrial uses.
What are the benefits of carbon fibre?
High stiffness and strength, Lightweight, Corrosion resistance, X-ray transparency, Low CTE (Coefficient of Thermal Expansion), Chemical resistivity and Thermal and electrical conductivity.
